Paul Stuart Smith - Managing Partner
Expert in regulatory, technical and strategic advice for companies across sectors and geographies on sustainability strategy and disclosure
Informed by over 25 years’ hands-on experience in senior management & strategy roles in capital markets and in the shipping industry.
A former Executive Director at the Baltic Exchange where he set up and ran its regulated subsidiary from 2009-17. He previously held high-profile roles in risk management and business development at Morgan Stanley & Chemical Bank (in London and New York) and also founded two independent financial services businesses
Paul trained as a Barrister (Inner Temple), studied mathematics at Oxford and served in the Army
Recent work includes advising companies on the application of the EU Taxonomy and other green finance regulations; implementation of the TCFD framework, including scenario analysis and drafting of climate-related disclosures; and developing broader corporate ESG policy and strategy aligned with international frameworks, including the UNGC
Concurrently, he is a co-director of the ESG in Shipping course at Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and has advised the Climate Bonds Initiative

Henry is a technical expert in Environmental Management and ESG, with over 30 years’ experience across sectors and disciplines.

He has particular expertise in Environmental and Social Assessment (EIA/ESIA), plus ESG, Sustainability and Due Diligence projects in the UK, Europe and Africa for Financial Institutions, PE, Project Developers and Operators.
He brings specific experience as Project Director for the development and delivery of new services and the establishment of operational centres in London, Africa and Europe, including the development and implementation of new country strategies, business development and full budget/P&L responsibility.

She is an experienced Sponsorship and Partnership professional with a demonstrable cross-sector history of leading B2B and B2C partnership strategies, and is skilled in Key Account Development and Business Development.
She has hosted large-scale events such as Cisco sponsorship of the Olympics, and also run intimate, invitation-only strategy events for Euromoney and Thomson Financial.
